I’m Daniel and I’m randplaty which is Random Platypus. I am married to beautiful Cindy. I live and work in San Diego, CA.

Random Platypus came to me when I thought I was clever and thought I had a formula for everyone to come up with a cool screen name or handle.  The formula is this.  Take one attribute about yourself. (For me that attribute was “random” because I would say random things or random thoughts sometimes)  Take your favorite animal.  (Platypus because its weird but fuzzy and cute at the same time) and combine the two.  I got Random Platypus.  If you think that’s weird, one of my friends, Amelia, came up with “Carefree Gerbil.”

I have been a Christian my entire life and grown up in a Christian family among a family of thinkers. Nothing on earth intrigues me more than living this life the way God has intended it to be lived and that’s what this blog is about. I hope that you’ll work with me through the scriptures, controversial issues, current happenings and the everyday mundane and discover how to live this life for the glory of God. I hope you’ll find a lot of content and analysis about life so that it’ll help you live your life for God’s glory also.
