I like Barack Obama
“Great respect goes to Barack Obama not only for saying criticism of candidates’ children is out of bounds in political campaigns, but for making it personal, and therefore believable. “My mother had me when she was eighteen…” That was the lovely sound of class in American politics.”
Read this line in this article by Peggy Noonan in the Wall Street Journal online. Completely agree. Completely agree.

too bad the rest of the liberal media doesn’t fall in line with their leader’s comment. seriously. the media went on the attack - trying to find whatever weaknesses/faults they could find about the governor and then slammed her over and over again. they said ‘what was she thinking - exposing her daughter to such scrutiny at a time in her life that is already difficult’ — and yet THEY were the ones who are subjecting her to the scrutiny. they are the ones who wouldn’t quit talking about it, kept on speculating about it, kept subjecting her to embarassing criticism…for days. pretty awful, i think.

I agree w/Tor. I wasn’t sure how the first comment corresponded with the article (though I only skimmed the article).

Nothing to do with the rest of the article. I just feel like Obama does care about people and has character.
