I hadn’t read your xanga in a long while, and in the process of browsing some older posts, came across the one about the Pulitzer Prize-winning photo by Todd Heisler ( story by Jim Sheeler). I found myself spending the better part of two hours slowly reading that article, looking over the photos, choking up, and praying for peace. As I’ve said before , I don’t think most Americans really appreciate the price of war or the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform. Thanks for posting that photo.

Americans these days are too selfish, expect things without working for it, give little back to society/community, and care about things that don’t matter like Britney Spears (not that it’s not fun to care about those things).
It’s 15% of the population that holds up the rest of this country to its success and prosperity.
This country desperately needs God.
